Prof. of pf., The Hague Cons., from 1917. Lived in Berlin 1904–39. Toured USA 4 times between 1922 and 1929 and taught at Eastman Sch. Later prof. of pf., RSAMD. Comp. sym., pf. trio, vc. sonata, pf. pieces.
