(fl. C15).

Architect and Master-Mason of the Flamboyant Gothic Town Hall at Louvain (Leuven), Belgium (1448–63), one of the most perfect of late-Gothic secular buildings in Northern Europe. His work was particularly harmonious and controlled in its use of Gothic ornament and motifs, and resembles contemporary architecture at Bruges, Ghent, Brussels, and Oudenarde, but surpasses in its richness of detail. He also designed the choir of St Waudru, Mons, Belgium (1450–1502), and other works.
