French dancer. She studied at the Paris Opera Ballet School, and graduated into the company in 1972, where she was appointed étoile (1982–96). An extremely versatile dancer, she performed both the classical and modern ballerina roles and created roles in several works including Ailey's Precipice (1983), Nureyev's Washington Square (1985), and Larrieu's Attentat poétique (1992). After officially retiring from the stage she returned to create a role in Neumeier's Sylvia (1997) and to dance in Giselle in the 1998 homage to Yvette Chauviré.
