A search for nearth-Earth asteroids and comets undertaken by Lowell Observatory, using a 0.6-m Schmidt camera on the Observatory's site at Anderson Mesa near Flagstaff, Arizona. LONEOS ran from 1998 to 2008, during which time it discovered 289 near-Earth asteroids and 42 comets.
