(16 November 1632)
A battle during the Thirty Years War between the Protestant forces under Gustavus II Adolphus and Bernard, Duke of Saxe‐Weimar and imperial Catholic troops commanded by Wallenstein. The Protestant attack was delayed by foggy conditions and the numerically superior imperial forces came close to victory. Gustavus was killed but Bernard eventually secured a victory for the Protestants.
