Traditionally regarded as a Scottish disciple of Cadoc (2), he was trained in Ireland before returning to Campsie (Scotland) where he worked, died, and was buried. Over his tomb a church was built, later given to Glasgow cathedral, which had a fine altar in his honour. He was said to have been consecrated bishop at Rome. Feast: 28 September.
