Also called Sharafuddin Ahmad ibn Yahya Maneri. Sufi saint of Bihar, India. Initiated into Sufism after having a thorough education in traditional religious sciences. Most famous for his Hundred Letters, which are letters of spiritual advice written upon the request of his famous disciple Qazi Shamsuddin, the governor of Chausa in western Bihar.
