Mickey Finn a surreptitiously drugged or doctored drink given to someone so as to make them drunk or insensible. Recorded from the 1920s, the origin of the expression is unknown, but it is sometimes said to be the name of a notorious Chicago saloon-keeper (c. 1896–1906).

Mickey Mouse a Walt Disney cartoon character, who first appeared as Mortimer Mouse in 1927, becoming Mickey in 1928. During the 1930s he became established as the central Disney character, with Disney himself speaking the soundtrack for Mickey's voice. He is perhaps the most famous of the Disney cartoon characters.Mickey Mouse is also used informally to indicate that something is of inferior quality.
