Coiling which occurs in the suborder Miliolina of the Foraminiferida. Coiling starts with a planispirally coiled proloculus and may continue in this way. Usually, however, tubular chambers are added lengthwise around the growth axis. It is common to find chambers added at 140° or 120°, leaving either three or five chambers visible on the outside of a test.
