The NASA ground team that operates a spacecraft. The team usually consists of around 20 members who control transmissions to a spacecraft and receive telemetry from it. The team monitors a spacecraft's performance in real time and confirms the proper execution of transmitted sequences. MCT also schedules the resources and coordination for the ground stations and helps determine the amount of tracking time needed for the mission.
