abbot. He was the nephew of Ita who fostered and educated him; later he became a monk at Bangor (Co. Down) under Comgall, who sent him to found a monastery at Arderin. Finally, he founded the abbey of Liathmor, now Leamokevoge (Co. Tipperary), which was the principal achievement of his life. The supposed Scottish Kevoca, titular of the church of Quivox, is really the Irishman Mochoemoc. Feast: 13 March.
