Quick Reference

In fractal geometry, an object for which the edge length approaches infinity as the ruler measuring it becomes infinitely short. The edge length of a fractal object depends on the size of the ruler that is used to measure it. This length increases as progressively shorter rulers are used, because the smaller rulers are able to take account of finer detail.
