spiritual writer. A descendant of St Thomas More, she was among the first postulants of the house of the English Benedictines at Cambrai. She came under the direction of Augustine Baker, who wrote her Life. Her own writings were published after her death as The Holy Practices of a Divine Lover (1657) and Confessiones Amantis (1658).
