Quick Reference

A large heterogeneous collection of diseases have in common the fact that mosquitoes are the vectors. They include viral, bacterial, rickettsial, protozoan, and metazoan diseases, the most important of which include dengue, Japanese encephalitis, malaria, and filariasis.
