post- Tractarian theologian. After the secession of J. H. Newman in 1845, Mozley was for a time a leading member of the Oxford Movement. His Bampton Lectures on Miracles (1865) were acclaimed a masterly contribution to what was then a pressing issue.

His brother, Thomas Mozley (1806–93) is remembered for his Reminiscences, chiefly of Oriel College and the Oxford Movement (1882).
