An anatomical description of a region of the neck also known as the inferior carotid triangle. It is bounded anteriorly by the median line of the neck from the hyoid bone to the sternum, posteriorly by the anterior border of the sternocleidomastoid muscle, and superiorly by the superior belly of the omohyoid muscle.
