A protein (406 aa), found only in nuclei of cells of the granulocyte–monocyte lineage, that has regions of sequence homology with several interferon-induced proteins and probably has a role in the response to interferon. Levels are reduced in familial and sporadic cases of myelodysplasia. MNDA has a pyrin domain.
