EC; other names: ADP‐ribosyltransferase; mono(ADP‐ribosyl) transferase; a sarcoplasmic reticulum enzyme that catalyses the formation of N2‐(ADP‐d‐ribosyl)‐l‐arginine from NAD+ and l‐arginine with release of nicotinamide. It couples poly(ADP‐ribose) to arginine residues in proteins.
