An exercise that strengthens and stretches the neck rotators, and relieves stiffness. It is important to perform the exercise with the head and neck in good axial alignment.

▪ Place the palm of your right hand against your right cheek, with your fingers pointing backwards and your elbow pointing forwards. Try to turn your head towards the right while resisting with your right hand. Hold for 6–10 seconds. Relax and, without straining, turn your head towards the left as far as possible. Hold for about 6 seconds then repeat on the other side.
