A very simple exercise for stretching the upper body, particularly the neck muscles.▪ Stand upright and relaxed with your hands on your hips. Turn your head slowly to one side, hold, and then turn it to the other side whilst shrugging your shoulders. After these sideways movements, slowly lower your head onto your chest. Hold for a few seconds, then, again slowly, raise your head so that your chin is in the air.During the exercise, you should feel the neck muscles being stretched, but be careful not to overstretch them.
