A Kashmiri Śaiva text, which takes its name from Śiva as Netranātha (‘Lord of the Eye’). Perhaps composed in court circles, it nevertheless contains significant popular material on possession and exorcism rituals. There is an extant commentary (Netratantroddyota) by the Pratyabhijñā theologian Kṣemarāja (c.1000–1050).
