An oral medication used for the treatment and prevention of angina by activation of potassium channels causing arterial and venous vasodilatation effects. It can result in severe oral ulceration which may occur many years after the start of treatment, especially with high doses, and which may be resistant to treatment. Trade name: Ikorel.
