Ballet in one act with choreography by Tharp, costumes by Oscar de la Renta, and lighting by Jennifer Tipton. Premiered 14 Oct. 1982 by the Twyla Tharp company at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver. This setting of Frank Sinatra recordings features seven couples who each represent a different facet of heterosexual romance. The work is in the repertory of other companies including Pacific Northwest Ballet. It is also performed by American Ballet Theatre under the title Sinatra Suite, featuring only one couple.
