(c. 1701–1756).

Italian surveyor, typographer, and architect, he prepared the plan of Rome that was an accurate and full survey of Antique remains. He designed Santa Dorotea in Trastévere (1751–6), with a concave façade of monumental gravity, and interior of deceptive simplicity.
