A one-volume edition of the Complete Works published under the General Editorship of Stephen Greenblatt in 1997, reprinting, and in some cases adapting, the text of the Oxford Complete Works (1986). It prints for example a conflated text of King Lear as well as the Oxford texts based on quarto and Folio, and a conflated text of Hamlet. In the American tradition, it includes extensive annotations and other study materials.
