Show Summary Details

Quick Reference

A heterogeneous type of poorly studied cataclysmic binaries; abbr. NL. There are either small-amplitude outbursts or minor fluctuations, which together with the spectral details resemble those of a post-nova at minimum. Closer study usually reveals features that enable a nova-like object to be more firmly classified as a post-nova, a dwarf nova, a UX Ursae Majoris star, or some other related group.
