Argentinian dancer. She trained at the Teatro Colón school and joined the company at the age of 14. In 1997 she moved to London, entering the Royal Ballet School and the following year graduating into the Royal Ballet, aged just 16. An extrovert dancer with a powerful technique, she was promoted to first soloist in 2001 and principal in 2002. She has since danced all the leading roles in the classical repertoire and has created roles in several works including Baldwin's Towards Poetry, Bintley's Les Saisons, Wheeldon's DGV, and McGregor's Infra.
