The degree to which a binocular cell located in the visual cortex and receiving inputs from both eyes responds primarily to one eye or the other, usually measured on a seven-point scale in which 1 indicates responsivity to inputs from the left eye only, 4 indicates equal responsivity to inputs from both eyes, and 7 indicates receptivity to inputs from the right eye only.
