Is a business-led initiative in the UK with the aim of improving the ‘quality and quantity of women's participation in the workforce’. Organizations from the public and private sectors sign up to Opportunity Now to make a public commitment to the aims of the initiative. The voluntarist approach means that each member organization sets its own objectives and monitors progress towards these. Awards are given each year for outstanding achievements and progress.
