A period of the European middle Bronze Age marked by the widespread occurrence of bronze and gold personal ornaments such as rings, torcs, bracelets, and pins alongside the more well‐ established range of tools and weapons. In southern Britain the ornament horizon coincides with the Taunton Industry. The smiths in this tradition were especially influenced by types current in Montelius II and III phases in northern Germany.
