Minuet attrib. J. Haydn but comp. by his pupil I. X. von Seyfried (1776–1841) who introduced it into his opera Das Ochsenmenuett (1823), compiled mainly from Haydn's works. Based on legend that Haydn wrote a minuet for a butcher who gave him an ox in return.
