A former stock market in the USA, with trading floors in San Francisco and Los Angeles. It signed a cooperation deal in 1990 with the Taiwan Stock Exchange, seeing its future in linking with other exchanges bordering on the Pacific. In 2001–02 it closed its physical trading facilities and became a purely electronic market. Since 2006 it has been a division of the New York Stock Exchange, trading under the name NYSE Arca.
