Stylized fan-shaped palmate leaf (called palmetto), one type resembling a honeysuckle flower and the other a raceme arrangement, often used in bands with the anthemion or the lotus in Classical friezes, but also on its own to embellish certain elements. It is found incised, in relief, or painted.
