Canadian Modernist architect. He founded John B. Parkin Associates with his brother, Edmund T. Parkin (1912– ), and John Cresswell Parkin (1912–88—no relation—who trained under Gropius). Among the firm's works are Toronto International Airport (1963–6), Toronto City Hall (1965—with Viljo Revell), the Union Railway Station, Ottawa (1967–9), and the Trade Centre and Arena, Hamilton, Ontario (1985).
