(fl mid-16th century; d before 1592). Scottish composer. He was a canon of the Augustinian Priory of St Andrews, and his music, which includes Latin motets as well as settings of English metrical psalms, led one contemporary to describe him as ‘ane of the cheiff musitians into this land’.
