(1894–1969), journalist whose syndicated column, “Fair Enough” (1933–62), was a cynical, right-wing survey of contemporary events from which he collected pieces in books including 'T Aint Right (1936), The Dissenting Opinions of Mister Westbrook Pegler (1938), and George Spelvin, American (1942). He won a 1941 Pulitzer Prize for columns exposing corruption in certain labor unions.
