A leading Nyingma figure in the dissemination of the Eclectic Movement who was famous for his modesty and ability to communicate profound teachings in a simple manner. This ability is exemplified in his Instructions of the All-Good Teacher (Tib., Kun-bzang bla-ma zhal-lung) which acts as a general introduction to the Nyingma version of the preliminary practices.
