A simple exercise which can help realign the body, extending the back and pulling the abdominal muscles in (figure 50).

▪ Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Pull in your stomach muscles and press your lower back against the floor. At the same time, tighten the hip and thigh muscles so that the pubic bone is pulled forward and up slightly. Hold, then relax.
