The south Indian yogin who introduced the chöd teachings into Tibet where he transmitted them to his chief disciple Machig Lapgi Drönma. During his wanderings, he also visited China and is considered by some Tibetans to be the same person as the Ch'an patriarch.Bodhidharma.
