An Arhat. He joined the Order (Saṃgha) out of greed and carried a large bowl, which he kept under his bed at night. In due course he conquered his appetites and became an Arhat. He was once rebuked by the Buddha for performing a miracle in Rājagṛha.in the course of which he ascended into the air to retrieve a sandalwood bowl that had been placed on top of a high pole.
