Quick Reference

A meteor shower producing low rates (maximum ZHR 10) during September and October from a multiple radiant near the ecliptic. Maxima occur, possibly, around September 8 (radiant at RA 0h 36m, dec. +07°), September 21 (RA 0h 24m, dec. 00°), and October 13 (RA 1h 44m, dec. +14°). Piscids are typically slow and sometimes comparatively long-lasting. The Piscids are not recognized as a separate shower by some authorities, and the activity may simply be due to general background from the anthelion radiant.
