(Skt.). A ‘seat’ or place of pilgrimage associated with the Mother class of anuttara-yoga-tantras.probably derived from a similar concept in Hindu Śaivite tantra. A basic group of four is mentioned: Jālandhara, Oḍḍiyāna.Pūrṇagiri, and Kāmarūpa, to which others are sometimes added. As well as being places with geographical locations in India.they are also linked to an internal spiritual geography.
