Quick Reference

Inspired by Duff, he compiled a biographical dictionary of printers and booksellers in England, Scotland, and Ireland, covering 1641–67 (1907), and was the primary contributor to the other volumes in the Bibliographical Society’s series. Plomer wrote three monographs and more than 60 articles, the majority of which, based on the systematic study of archives, were for the Library.
