(bc.1410; dc.1484). English composer. He served as a clerk at Henry VI's Chapel Royal from 1441, assuming the post of Master of the Children in 1444. His later life was spent at Windsor, where he was verger at St George's Chapel until his death; his name is still commemorated there four times a year. Some fine antiphons and motets by him have survived.
