Shakespeare's principal independently printed poems are Venus and Adonis (1593), The Rape of Lucrece (1594), The Phoenix and the Turtle’ (1601), the Sonnets (1609), and (less certainly by Shakespeare) The Passionate Pilgrim (1599) and A Lover's Complaint (printed along with the Sonnets in 1609).
