An anatomical term used to describe a region of the neck also known as the lateral cervical triangle. It is bounded anteriorly by the sternocleidomastoid muscle, posteriorly by the anterior border of the trapezius muscle, superiorly by the union of the sternoclaidomastoid and trapezius muscles, and inferiorly by the middle third of the clavicle.
