A subjective feeling that arises after adopting an eccentric or abnormal body posture for some time, and then adopting a normal posture. The sensation is of an abnormal posture that deviates from normality in the opposite direction to the prior abnormal posture, and this aftereffect is a consequence of the perdeviation effect.
