A syndrome consisting of pain and tenderness in the middle anterior part of the elbow, numbness in the second, third, and radial half of the fourth finger, pain during pronation, and weakness during plantar flexion. It is caused by entrapment of the median nerve by overactivity of the pronator teres, for example, as a result of repetitive throwing.
