(1672–1704) Minister of Thorne (Yorkshire) and grandson of a Flemish settler who came with Vermuyden to drain Hatfield Chase. He wrote a manuscript history of the parish of Hatfield in the late 1690s (British Library, Lansdowne MS 896), and a diary, published by the Surtees Society in 1870, but died young.
