Ahmad ibn Muhammad Abu al-Husayn al-Baghdadi al-Quduri. A leading Hanafi scholar of Baghdad from the classical period of Islamic law, best known for his Mukhtasar, a much-commented-on handbook of law that is still studied in Hanafi institutions of traditional Islamic learning.
